EAST NORWEGIAN TOWNSHIP — A man is dead after a crash Thursday morning in Schuylkill County.
Officials say a car carrier truck and a car crashed around 9 a.m. on Route 209 between New Philadelphia and Port Carbon.
State police identified the victim as Scott Bedford, 31, of Pottsville.
Troopers say he lost control going around a curve and hit the truck going south.
That part of Route 209 was closed while crews cleaned up the crash.
