UPDATE: Traffic flowing again along I-81 north in Schuylkill County after rollover crash

According to emergency officials, there was a crash on the highway around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Lanes were closed or restricted for nearly 4 hours.

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE: That stretch of Interstate 81 is fully open again after a crash caused closures and delays early Wednesday morning.

PennDOT reports the highway reopened around 6:30 a.m.

There's still no word about what caused that crash, the number of vehicles and people involved or any injuries sustained in that wreck in Schuylkill County.

A crash along Interstate 81 northbound is slowing traffic in Schuylkill County.

According to emergency officials, there was a wreck around 2 a.m. Wednesday at mile marker 126 northbound on Interstate 81, just past the Frackville exit.

Newswatch 16's video shows the scene in Ryan Township.

At least one tractor-trailer was overturned.

As of about 5 a.m. Wednesday, there is a lane restriction through the crash area. There may be some residual delays.

There is no word on how many vehicles were involved in the crash, whether anyone was hurt or what led to the wreck in Schuylkill County.
