Child pulled from burning home in Schuylkill County

The fire started late Friday morning in a home in Shenandoah Heights.

SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS, Pa. — A child was rescued from a fire in Schuylkill County Friday morning.

The fire started just before noon in a home in the 200 block of Indiana Avenue in Shenandoah Heights.

A child in the home was rescued by emergency workers and flown to a hospital. The nature and extent of the injuries have not been released.

There is no word on the cause.
