PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The Savannah Bananas, a team that plays baseball like no other, announced its 2025 Banana Ball World Tour City Draft including stops in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

Games in the three cities will take place in the summer of 2025, bringing the game of Banana Ball to fans in the Commonwealth.

The Savannah Bananas play "Banana Ball", taking a twist on the regular game rules of baseball. When the team was created in 2016, its mission was to make baseball fun and bring back fans to Historic Grayson Stadium, where a minor league baseball team recently left at that time.

Players on the team play in kilts, perform choreographed dances, have creative walk-up routines and are known for their scoring celebrations.

The team also has a senior citizen dance team, a dancing umpire and a break dancing coach who will all show off as batters make their way to the plate or in between innings.

The Bananas will play at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on July 26 and 27 against the Texas Tailgaters.

On Aug. 1 and 2, the Bananas will play at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Md. against The Firefighters.

Then, another matchup against the Tailgaters will be played at PNC Park in Pittsburgh on Aug. 29 and 30.

Fans interested in attending a game can join the lottery list found here.

The list will close on Nov. 1, 2024 and a random drawing will take place around two months before the event.
