PENNSYLVANIA, USA — A rate increase requested by a water company has been put on ice for now.
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission announced on Thursday that it will investigate the request by Pennsylvania American Water.
The company announced plans last month to increase water bills by 25 percent.
The final decision on the rate increase is expected by August of next year.
