HAWLEY -- The company that operates Lake Wallenpaupack announced it is selling the power generating plant to another company.
Talen Energy Corporation is selling off three of its plants.
Lake Wallenpaupack and another plant are being sold to Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners for $860 million.
A third plant is being sold to a subsidiary of TransCanada Corporation.
In June, Talen Energy became the operator of PPL's power generating facilities.
