PIKE COUNTY, Pa. — An assistant fire chief in Pike County has been charged with sexual assault.
Investigators say 49-year-old Charles Simone assaulted a teenage girl back in February and told her not to tell anyone.
Simone, who works for the Tafton Fire Company, is also accused of giving alcohol to another teenager.
He is charged with Sexual Assault, Corruption of Minors, and other related charges.
Simone was arraigned on July 30th and released on bond. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled later this month.
