PIKE COUNTY, Pa. — Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a fire in Pike County.
Crews were called to a residential structure fire on Pine Ridge Drive West in Lehman Township around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the Lehman Pike Emergency Medical Services, three people were found suffering from severe burns and smoke inhalation. Two of the victims were flown to the regional burn center for their injuries. Another victim was taken by ground transportation to a trauma center. No word has been released on their conditions.
The fire was controlled around 3:53 a.m., according to Bushkill Fire Company.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Fire Marshal's office.
