Man drowns in the Delaware River

The drowning comes one day after another man drowned in the same river.

PIKE COUNTY, Pa. — A man is dead after drowning at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Crews were called to the Bushkill boat ramp just after 6 p.m. on Monday.

They said the victim was out of the water, and bystanders were performing CPR on the shore.

He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Authorities in the Poconos said he's a 34-year-old man from Marshalls Creek, but they're not releasing his identity.
