PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Dunkin’ of Northeastern Pennsylvania is hosting its 15th annual St. Joseph’s Center Iced Coffee Day fundraiser. For every Iced Coffee purchased at participating Dunkin’s on Wednesday, Dunkin’ franchisees throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania will donate $1 to St. Joseph’s Center.
”All you really have to do is just come through your normal routine, do what you do every day and come to Dunkin. When you buy the iced coffee, we'll be happy to give a dollar,” said Bob Flannery, Dunkin Business Consultant.
Every Dunkin in Newswatch 16's viewing area participates in Iced Coffee Day. That's more than 75 stores.
All you have to do is buy an Iced Coffee and Dunkin takes care of the rest.
“We're hoping this year we can, of course, raise a lot of money. Our team members, our managers, and our franchisees live in the community. This is a great program, Saint Joseph's Center, and we love that we get to be part of that,” said Amanda Dimmick, Dunkin Director of Training.
Newswatch 16 spent the morning at Dunkin's Davis Street store in Scranton. It was a busy place and customers bought a lot of Iced Coffee!
“This is a great organization. I'm here almost every single day just like everyone else. It's a great feeling and I had no problems getting out of my car today, coming in and getting a coffee,” said Leah Price of Scranton.
Iced Coffee Day runs from open to close at all Dunkin stores in WNEP's viewing area.
Over the last 15 years, the event has raised more than half a million dollars for St. Joseph's Center.
