MILTON, Pa. — Police say two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in Northumberland County.
Police were called to Broadway Street around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers say two people were hospitalized after being shot. Their conditions Wednesday were unclear.
Police arrested Jose Rodriguez Lasalle, of Milton, on a firearms charge Wednesday.
According to a criminal complaint, police officers searched a Broadway Street home while investigating the shooting and found a 9 mm handgun in a bedroom Lasalle said was his. The weapon's serial number was destroyed.
Lasalle is not accused in filings of committing the shootings.
Magisterial District Judge Michael I. Diehl arraigned Lasalle on Wednesday morning and set bail at $75,000. He's due back in court May 1.
