NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Ralpho Township Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Wednesday night near Elysburg.
Police says that accident occurred on West Valley Ave near the intersection with Spruce Street when a male on a skateboard rode into the path of a tanker truck.
According to police, the driver of the truck was unable to avoid hitting the skateboarder.
The skateboarder was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and age have not been released.
West Valley Avenue was shut down for several hours, and police say the investigation in Ralpho Township is ongoing.
