NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — State police responded to Route 405 in West Chillisquaqe Township near Milton just before 7 p.m. Wednesday after a car crashed into a building.
Pennsylvania State Police say Cornelius McMullen, 49, of Lewsiburg, lost control of his vehicle and hit a house. The crash caused the house to catch on fire.
McMullen died as a result, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A passenger, who is a juvenile, was taken to Geisinger Danville for minor injuries.
The homeowner was home at the time of the crash but was not injured.
Route 405 in West Chillisquaqe Township near Milton was closed at the time but has since reopened.
