DELAWARE TOWNSHIP-- State police fire marshals were back at Bradley's Fern Park near Turbotville. The restaurant/bar on Susquehanna Trail caught fire hours earlier, causing damage to the building. The restaurant was closed at the time, but some of Fern Park's regular customers say they are upset over the fire.
"Really good service, really good food and a fun atmosphere. It's a really sad thing to see them lose everything," Lisa Kinney said.
"They have great food. You can't beat the food. I'm sorry to see this happen to them," Dick Foresman said.
Dick Foresman lives just a few block away from fern park. He says he drove by just before the fire and everything looked normal.
"A little bit later my son came by and said Fern Park was on fire," Foresman said.
The owners of Fern Park did not wish to go on camera, but they tell Newswatch 16 they have owned this place for the past 16 years, and they do plan to rebuild it.
"This is one of the bars around this area where everybody knows your name. It's like a cheers thing," Kinney said.
A state police fire marshal believes the fire started in the kitchen. They do not believe it's suspicious.
