SHAMOKIN, Pa. — Police in Shamokin have arrested a person in connection with gunfire Wednesday morning.
Nashay Destouet, 27, of Shamokin, is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and weapons charges.
Police say sometime after 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, a man and a woman were arguing in the middle of North Rock Street when the shot was fired.
Destouet was arrested Wednesday afternoon and is currently locked up in Northumberland County.
