NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A man from Mount Carmel is locked up on sexual assault charges of a young girl.
Christopher Snyder, 38, is charged with statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and related charges.
Investigators say the victim was assaulted when she was 11 to 14 years old and had happened in numerous places, with the last assault in January of 2024.
The victim told police that Snyder threatened to kill her mother if she told anyone.
