SUNBURY, Pa. — A man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after killing three people over a car.
In 2021, Matthew Reed shot and killed Susan Williams, James Dicken, and a 17-year-old boy at a home near Sunbury.
Investigators say Reed was planning to buy a car from the victims but opened fire when he found out they decided to sell it to someone else.
Reed pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in Northumberland County court on Thursday and was sentenced to life in prison.
