Crash on Route 147 closes all lanes in Northumberland County

All lanes were closed on Route 147 southbound after a truck crash on Friday evening.

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Drivers experienced delays after a crash on Route 147 in Northumberland County on Friday evening.

A tractor-trailer crash on the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) River Bridge prompted Route 147, southbound, to close at the Route 1014 (Ridge Road) interchange in Point Township, Northumberland County.

Route 147 southbound is reopened for drivers after an update on Saturday morning.

A detour using Ridge Road, Route 405 South, and Route 11 South was in place after the crash on Friday evening.
