MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — Work to reopen a stretch of Route 611 in Monroe County will officially begin Wednesday.
Route 611 near the Delaware Water Gap has been closed since a rockslide in December of 2022.
Repairs will include a temporary rockfall barrier.
According to PennDOT, it will take about 8 to 10 weeks before traffic can start flowing again on Route 611 in Monroe County.
