MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — A woman died at the scene of a crash on Thursday in Monroe County.
State police troopers responded to a crash around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Barry's Road and Bluegrass Lane in Chestnuthill Township. Megan Oldenburg, 39, of Hamilton Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Monroe County coroner, the crash was accidental. An investigation determined that Oldenburg traveled through the intersection down an embankment and struck a tree, causing the car to overturn.
Oldenburg suffered multiple blunt force trauma, which resulted in her death.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the accident.
