STROUDSBURG, Pa. — As the Israel- Hamas conflict continues, vigils have been organized across the country.
Thursday, the Christ Episcopal Church in Stroudsburg hosted a vigil for Israel and Palestine along Courthouse Square.
Church leaders stressed that everyone, regardless of religion, was welcome.

“There's so many connections between people here in this country and Israel and in Palestine that it was important to come out and stand together in a hope for peace.” Said Sue Lyons of Stroud Township.
About 70 people came out to the vigil for Israel and Palestine in Stroudsburg.
