TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP -- A part of an interstate in Monroe County was shut down for hours Friday morning after a crash.
A truck went off Interstate 80 east just before 1 a.m. and ended up in the median near the Blakeslee Exit.
The rig spilled it's load of two empty propane tanks and an engine onto the roadway. A car driving behind the rig struck the cargo.
Officals say the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital and everyone in the car was okay.
Both lanes of Interstate 80 east were closed near that exit for about three hours.
Those lanes are now back open after that crash in Monroe County.
