STROUDSBURG -- A woman accused of killing a man and dismembering and burning his body was found guilty of first-degree murder by a jury in Monroe County.
The verdict for Stacy Britton came down Monday afternoon.
A jury found that Britton and her husband James killed Robert Roudebush at a home in Wilkes-Barre in 2002, then dismembered and burned the body in Monroe County where the remains were discovered a year later.
James Britton pleaded guilty to third-degree murder for the crime last month and was sentenced to 15 to 30 years behind bars.
