Schools shut down in Monroe County after teachers test positive for COVID-19

Pleasant Valley School District announced that the high school and Monroe Carbon Technical Institute will close for three days.

MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — Pleasant Valley School District announced that the high school and Monroe Carbon Technical Institute will close for three days.

The schools will be closed Monday through Wednesday after two teachers at MCTI tested positive for coronavirus.

During the shutdown, all high school students will still have school virtually using Google classroom. 

Classes at Pleasant Valley High School and MCTI will resume on Thursday.
