STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Streets were closed Sunday in part of Monroe County for a borough-wide Pride celebration in Stroudsburg.
Live performances and music were featured on two different stages at the festival as folks filled the street to dance and celebrate the start of Pride Month.
There were craft vendors, children's activities, food trucks, as well as resource tables for those looking for information about staying safe and inclusivity.
"This is a family thing, and you know the beautiful thing about it is that no matter where you are from, no matter who you are, no matter how you choose to identify, your love here and that support is palpable; you could feel it it's beautiful," said DJ Frank Bishop, organizer.
This was the fourth year for this celebration of inclusion and empowerment in the Poconos.
