DELAWARE WATER GAP – New York City remains on high alert as the nation continues to watch the terror unfolding in Brussels.
Many people from the Poconos rely on mass transit to commute into work in the Big Apple.
Newswatch 16 talked with some of those commuters about the latest terror attacks before they headed off to work.
The Martz Bus Station fills with New York City commuters less than 24 hours after terror attacks at an airport and a metro station in Belgium.
Many say emotions already rush through their heads.
"A lot, 911, everything just come back, a lot,” said Ayodele Toio of East Stroudsburg.

"It's very scary for me because I teach on different campuses, so today I get to walk through Times Square which is a little scary,” said Delores Hart of East Stroudsburg.
Mohammed Hussain is Muslim and says continued ISIS and Al Qaeda attacks concern him.
“I have to tell you this is not Islam. This is no religion. This is terrorism,” said Mohammed Hussain of Bushkill.
Many of the people using mass transit from the Poconos into New York City for work say they have no other choice, even when those terror alerts are extremely high.
The commuters heading into Port Authority say the extra security gives them some comfort, knowing they could be a target on any given day.
“It may be very expensive for the country but you know to keep us safe from these lunatic people, we appreciate that,” said Hussain.
“My heart and my prayers go out to them, but we've been attacked too so we all know how they feel, but my heart and prayers go out to them,” said Hart.
