STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Wednesday night marked the 3rd annual Bikers for Backpacks school supply drive at Timbers Terrace in Stroudsburg.
The Pocono Mountain H.O.G. Chapter #3325 organizes the event to help stuff 1,500 backpacks for elementary students in Monroe County.
"So we pack them with colored pencils, markers, regular pencils, crayons, folders, glue sticks, scissors. Everything they need to start the school year," said Joan Bumbulsky, event coordinator, Pocono Harley Davidson.
There will be a motorcycle ride and a kids' fair to pick up backpacks on August 17th at Pocono Mountain Harley Davison in Tannersville.
