MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — A man from Monroe County has been found guilty of murder.
Investigators say Tyrone Parson shot and killed 19-year-old Jaheem Alston back in October of 2021. His body was found in a wooded area of Middle Smithfield Township near Stroudsburg.
A judge found Parson guilty of third-degree murder on Monday; he will be sentenced in August.
A woman was also charged in connection with the homicide; she is awaiting trial.
