CRESCO, Pa. — A man was pronounced dead from their injuries early morning Friday in Monroe County.
Rowland Matthews, 43, of Dreher Township, died on Friday at 4:46 a.m. in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg from blunt force injuries to the torso.
According to the coroner, Matthews was hurt in an accident on October 8, when he was riding a motorcycle and struck a utility pole on Route 191, about one mile south of Pocono Plateau Road.
The crash remains under investigation by the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.
