STROUDSBURG -- We're learning more about a crash in Stroudsburg Tuesday night. A car slid down a hill and into the front porch of a home on Broad Street.

It's not the first time the home has been hit.

Emergency vehicles rushed to the home on Broad Street in Stroudsburg after a car came crashing into the porch around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. It came sliding down a snowy and slippery Route 191.

"Heard a loud noise, my whole house shook, and then I looked down and I saw that a car was on my front porch," said homeowner Mehmet Barzev.

Barzev says his 5 year old was in the front room when it all happened. But he's used to emergencies; Barzev and his wife are paramedics.

"My wife was actually on the ambulance that responded to the accident because she was on duty in town when the call came out," said Barzev.

Neighbor Robin Lively and her husband watched the whole incident unfold from just a few houses down.

"No brakes, no fishtailing, no nothing. They just drove straight in and we went, 'There it is!' And they went right into the house," said Lively.

This actually isn't the first time this house has been crashed into. It's been hit by a car three times.

"This is the second incident while we've lived there and there was a third incident the month before we bought our house," said Barzev.

Barzev and his family just remodeled the porch last St. Patrick's Day weekend. Custom rocking chairs for his girls are now shattered. Fresh paint is now ruined.

Neighbors say crashes like this latest one cause a little concern along a very busy street.

"I do worry about it but yeah, we live on Broad Street. It has it's good points and it's bad points," said Lively.

Police are still investigating what led to the crash, but say no one was badly hurt.
