Fire damages vacant hotel in Monroe County

Flames broke out at the place along Main Street in Delaware Water Gap around 11 a.m. Saturday.

DELAWARE WATER GAP, Pa. — Flames damaged a vacant hotel in Monroe County Saturday morning.

Crews responded to the former Glenwood Inn and Conference Center along Main Street in Delaware Water Gap around 11 a.m.

The check-in center and pool area sustained significant damage.

Officials say no one was inside at the time, and no one was injured.

A Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal will investigate the cause of the blaze in Monroe County.
