Update: crews reopen Route 380 after hours-long closure

Drivers in Monroe County impacted by the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby.

MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE-

Crews reopened Route 380 just before 7pm Friday. It had been closed for hours as crews worked to remove fallen utility lines.

ORIGINAL STORY-

Tropical Storm Debby brought rain, wind and some travel issues to the Poconos.  At the ramp to get on Route 380 south, drivers have to find a different way to their destination.

There are cones blocking access to route 380 since it is closed in both directions. The closure is between the Tobyhanna and Mount Pocono exits, because of some knocked down utility lines on the highway

PennDOT officials say they have crews out there working to clear things up.
