Pedestrian hit in Monroe County identified

MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — One person is dead after a crash involving a pedestrian in Monroe County.

Officials say a car struck a pedestrian while he was trying to cross Route 115 when he was hit in the northbound lane in Tunkhannock Township around 5 p.m. Monday.

Police say the pedestrian, identified as 63-year-old Clifton Little of Blakeslee, died at the scene. 

The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Accident Reconstruction team is investigating the crash.
