MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — Two people are dead after a shooting in Monroe County.
Police responded to a residence along Ski Side Drive in Pocono Township around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a domestic disturbance.
Investigators say a man shot a woman and then shot himself. Both are dead.
The Lehigh County coroner said Leilani Ramos, 37, was pronounced dead on Tuesday at 8:33 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. The coroner listed the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the manner of death a homicide.
Police say it is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
