Camelback Resort holds fall career fair

People 14 years or older can choose from a variety of career opportunities at the resort's career fairs.

Inside the 4th-floor conference room at the lodge at Camelback Resort in Monroe County, people lined up anxiously awaiting their turn in line at the resort's fall career fair.

The resort near Tannersville is recruiting about 200 new employees ahead of the winter 2024-2025 season interviewing candidates on the spot for the many career opportunities.

Camelback Resort Vice President of Human Resources Mary Popovich says, "We have a number of roles available. If you're someone who likes to work indoors, we have roles for that. If you're someone who likes to work outdoors especially in the winter season we have plenty of roles for that."

Popovich says the resort has open positions in everything from culinary services to housekeeping. There are also job opportunities for those who love winter weather like ski lift operators, snow tubing attendants, skiing instructors, and lifeguards for the resort's indoor waterpark.

"The nice part is we love to have fun right, so we work hard but we also play hard," Popovich says.

Those who join the team will get a season pass that can also be used at Blue Mountain Resort.

"So we have really fantastic programs and a ton of fun as we work to create an amazing atmosphere for our guests and for each other," Popovich says.

There are also open roles for the front desk and resort ranger positions.

"There's probably not a role that I could name that we couldn't find a space for someone who is really interested and excited to just interact with other people and help create amazing memories for people," says Popovich.

Resort officials say if you missed this career fair you'll have two more opportunities on November 1st and November 2nd. To find more information you click here.
