STROUDSBURG, Pa. — A man wanted for a deadly shooting in Alabama has been picked up in Monroe County.
Malcolm Derr, 19, of Madison County, Alabama, was wanted by the Huntsville, Alabama, Police Department for a homicide in Huntsville on March 23.
The United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and members of the Pennsylvania State Police took Derr into custody on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 7th Street and Sarah Street in Stroudsburg.
Derr was locked up in Monroe County and will be taken to Alabama.
