LEWISBURG, Pa. — A Mifflin County man is facing up to two years in prison after pleading guilty to DUI and recklessly endangering another person in connection to a bizarre crash through a home last year in Decatur Township, court records show.
Evan Miller's 2006 Toyota Corolla was traveling in excess of 90 to 100 miles per hour when it careened off a culvert and into the second floor of a home on the 800 block of Alfarta Road in August 2023, according to authorities.
Miller was seen running around after the crash, claiming that he tried to harm himself after seeing demons and believing he was a demon, police said at the time.
Miller pleaded guilty at a hearing on May 28, court records show. Several other charges against him were dropped in exchange for his plea.
He is currently incarcerated at Mifflin County Prison while he awaits a sentencing hearing, court records show.
He faces a minimum sentence of nine months and a maximum sentence of two years in jail.
