WILLIAMSPORT -- Police in Williamsport are investigating a shooting in the city that left two people dead.
Police identified the victims as Kristine Kibler, 50, and her 25-year-old son, Shane Wright.
Police were called to a home in the 600 block of Poplar Street just before 10 p.m. on Monday.
Wright was found dead inside. Kibler died a short time later at Williamsport Hospital.
Police have not said what led to the gunfire.
According to the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, police were called to that same home, after a report of a fight, Friday night.
Police tell us they do have some leads, and they are working "to bring the case to a successful prosecution."
