LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. — A drive-in movie theater is open for the season in Lycoming County.
The Pike Drive-in Movie Theater near Montgomery opened for its 71st season on Friday night and plans a full slate this summer with more than 40 movies.
"Later in the summer, we'll have Grease here one night; we'll definitely have a 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' weekend, which is pretty big, having something with 'Night of the Living Dead,'" said Joe Mcdade, operator at the Pike Drive-In.
The opening weekend specials continue on Saturday, as the cash admission price for the double feature will only be $10 a person, and kids 8 and under get in for free.
The Pike Drive-in opens at 7:30 p.m. The first movie is shown at 8:25 p.m. They are open from May and run until the end of September or early October.
