LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. — Two women are behind bars in Lycoming County after an infant's welfare was endangered last week.
A mother is facing aggravated assault and child endangerment charges after State police in Montoursville say 24-year-old Morgan Vanbuskirk brought her 6-month-old son to the Williamsport emergency room last Wednesday.
Vanbuskirk claimed a "Family friend" dropped him on his head and that the child was exposed to meth.
Troopers later found drugs at the residence and arrested Vanbuskirk and 48-year-old Rebecca Aikey.
The child is in stable condition.
Vanbuskirk and Aikey are locked up in the Lycoming County Prison with bail denied, and both have preliminary hearings set for July 12, 2024.
