WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A man was locked up after an hours-long standoff in Lycoming County.
It started around 10 a.m. Monday along Lycoming Street in Williamsport.
Police units were called in after reports that a woman had locked herself in a bathroom when Rynell Brooks-Brown threatened her with a gun.
Police said that the woman was able to eventually escape, and Brooks-Brown surrendered to authorities on the scene.
Brooks-Brown was charged with terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and other related charges. He was locked up in the Lycoming County Prison on $300,000 bail.
