MUNCY -- If you bought a Powerball ticket at a certain store in Lycoming County, you may want to check your numbers. The ticket could be worth $2 million!

You could see the sign as soon as you walked into Unity Food Mart on Main Street in Muncy. And when you walked inside the store, the owner's smile said it all.

"Very exciting news. Exciting and good news," Mr. Patel said.

Although there were three main winners in Puerto Rico, Texas, and North Carolina who split that $564 million Powerball jackpot, Unity Food Mart sold a $2 million ticket. It matched all five white numbers, but not the red Powerball.

Mr. Patel owns the store and says the Pennsylvania Lottery contacted him first thing.

"I was so excited! You were dancing around! Yes I was," Patel said.

Patel made sure all of his customers knew his store sold the $2 million ticket. He posted signs everywhere.

John Yocum of Lairdsville checked his ticket, and he wasn't the lucky winner either.

"When they're large amounts I buy them and I don't really win so I don't know why I buy them," Yocum said.

Customers say Unity Food Mart is already known as a lucky store. It's sold winning tickets in the past.

"For like $50,000 on a scratch-off ticket and stuff like that. I was in here the day that guy scratched it off right in front of me," Todd Lowe said.

As a bonus, Unity Food Mart gets $10,000 for selling the $2 million ticket. Patel says he is more excited to find out who the winning ticket belongs to.
