Fire in Williamsport forces business to close

A fire started in the early morning, spreading to two businesses in Williamsport.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Two restaurants were affected by a fire in Lycoming County.

Flames broke out around 5 a.m. Tuesday at Taco Loco along West 4th Street in Williamsport.

The business sustained significant smoke damage, forcing it to shut down.

The fire also spread to Casale's Sub Shop next door. That business is also closed.

There is no word yet on how long Taco Loco will be closed, the owner tells Newswatch 16 he hopes to reopen as soon as possible.
