LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. — Crews responded to a fatal crash near the Montgomery Pike Scenic Overlook just after 5 p.m. Wednesday in Lycoming County.
According to officials, an SUV left the roadway along Route 15, broke through a fence at the overlook, and fell down the mountain. The car hit a tree and later caught fire.
Officials identified 33-year-old Peter Zeigler of South Williamsport, who was killed at the scene.
The deadly crash remains under investigation in Lycoming County.
