WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — It's not even Halloween yet, but musicians from all over Pennsylvania are already thinking about Christmas.
Monster Track Supergroup is made up of musicians from different bands who come together to record albums sometimes.
The group is currently working on a four-song album for charity.
"We're just coming together and helping to do some songs so he can distribute these CDs and take the proceeds from that and donate it to a good cause," Jeremy Hummel said.
All of the proceeds from both the physical and digital album copies will go to Toys for Tots in Williamsport.
"It will be released a month and a half before Christmas, and the goal is to cut them a check a week before Christmas," Jeff Pittinger said.
This will be the group's third album together.
"It's a perfect scenario to raise money, plus the gift of music is an eternal thing. Music is timeless," Pittinger said.
The group is recording the album at Eight Days a Week studio in Northumberland.
"It's really rewarding to help out kids who are in need, and Jeff's a great guy, so we're really happy to help him out," Hummel said.
"Since I have a number of tots myself, I know that it's really nice. It's a good thing for the kids," Rusty Foulke said.
