WILLIAMSPORT — The owner of a tax service in Williamsport faces charges for allegedly overcharging her client almost $70,000.
Melanie Huynh was arraigned on felony theft charges Tuesday.
Huynh owns Century Accounting and Tax Service on Pine Street.
Court papers say Huynh overcharged the owner of Future Nails, a salon near Williamsport for tax services between 2011 and 2013 and also failed to file taxes for that client on time.
Huynh was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
