WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- A woman was rushed to the hospital after a fire Thursday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre.
Firefighters were called to the home along Kidder Street around 3:30 p.m.
The fire chief tells us the woman suffered severe burns.
No one else was home at the time.
The fire chief tells us the fire was ruled accidental. The cause was a space heater located too close to a chair.
