HAZLETON, Pa. — A woman is locked up on child endangerment charges in Luzerne County.
Police responded to West Elm and Poplar Streets in Hazleton around 3 a.m. Sunday morning for reports of a child locked out of their home.
Officers found the child sleeping in the mother's car with a pillow and blanket.
Police later found the child's mother, Yuliya Hettler-Maskimova, passed out inside the home under the influence of drugs.
Hettler-Maskimova faces endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person charges in Luzerne County.
