WILKES-BARRE -- At Monday's meeting where the Wilkes-Barre Area School Board decided where to send Coughlin students during the construction of a new high school in the city, the superintendent announced his retirement.
Bernard Prevuznak's said he will retire when his contract is up at the end of August.
Prevuznak has been an educator and administrator in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District for 35 years.
At Monday's meeting, he thanked everyone he's worked with in the district.
