LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Thousands of little ghouls and goblins flocked to West Pittston's Halloweentown Tuesday night to see the spooky sights and fill their trick-or-treat bags.
There were many good scares, with plenty of ghosts, clowns, witches, and skeletons at the intricately decorated homes.
Along with haunted houses, food trucks and a spine-tingly Halloween trot brought in many from out-of-town.
"I think it's amazing I think the community is great to do this. We were just saying in the car that he wished he had this when he was younger that the community would have come together to do something so extravagant. " Said Angela Pokrifka of Wilkes-Barre.
This was the first year for West Pittston's Halloweentown event.
Organizers are hoping to do it all again next year.
